The climb will be undertaken towards the end of the trek when everyone will be fully acclimatised after the moderate walk from Lukla and to Kalapathar. Finally heading for the Imja valley and Island Peak Base Camp. For those not attempting the climb of Island Peak there is the opportunity to explore the Imja Khola Valley.
